Gil Saada

Gil was born in Kibbutz Nachschon, Israel. He began his trombone studies at age 11, with Alex Klopov in the Yad Harif art center in Tzora.
Gil finished his high school in the high school of the academy of music and dance in Jerusalem and at age 18 he joined the military band of the Israel defense force. He studied with Daniele Morandini(ex-principal trombone of the Israel Philharmonic), Micha Davis, Eli Ahroni and Nir Erez.
Afterward Gil moved to Bern, Switzerland to study with Ian Bousfield(ex London phil. and Vienna phil.)
Today Gil is doing his Master’s degree with Ian Bousfield and Rex Martin in Bern.
He played with most of the orchestras in Israel and some orchestras in Switzerland.
Among other things, Gil is interested in contemporary music and performances, and he had the opportunity to perform with different ensembles and as a solo performer in concerts.
Gil received the AICF scholarships from 2008 to 2015 regularly.
He was playing in the season 2016-2017 as a Praktiant(intern) in the Sinfonie Orchester Biel-Solothurn in Switzerland.
