Itay Tiran, actor, was born in Israel in 1980. He begun his artistic studies at the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, where he focused on piano. Itay is a graduate with excellence of the Beit Zvi School of the Performing Arts and a winner of the Zvi Kalir Prize. In 2003 he won the Prize for Promising Actor. Itay participated in plays of the Sifria Theater and in a production of the musical “Hair”. In the Cameri Theater he acted in plays such as “Mother Courage” (Brecht), “Eyewitness” (Sobol) and “Caviar and Lentils” (Scarnicci and Tarabusi). Italy has also played Hamlet in “Hamlet” (Shakespeare), with which he participated with the Cameri in the Washington Festival (2005). In 2006 he appeared in “Forgiveness” by Udi Aloni and in 2007 in “Beaufort” of Joseph Cedar. Itay has also appeared in a number of Israeli TV series such as “Franco & Spector” and “Haburganim”. He won AICF scholarships in 2000-2002.
