Held at one of New York’s premier performance venues, it will bring together two of Israel’s most popular and accomplished female singing artists: Achinoam Nini (Noa) – who is Jewish – and Mira Awad – who is an Arab citizen of Israel.  Both are dedicated coexistence advocates known for their shared commitment to an Israel of equality and shared values who are offering their combined musical talents to benefit the work of The Abraham Fund.

Each singer is a major star in her own right with strong followings in the United States but especially in Europe and Israel. Mira Awad is also a star on one of Israeli TV’s most popular situation comedies, “Avodah Aravit” – the ongoing bitter-sweet story of a young Israeli-Arab family struggling to “make it” in contemporary Israel.

As proof of their broad international appeal, Noa and Mira represented Israel together in the 2009 Eurovision international singing competition, where they made it to the final round with their hit song “There Must Be Another Way”, performed in Hebrew, Arabic and English.
